Got sushi for dinner last night since Sushi King is having their RM2 per plate offer. For those who didn't know its an offer they do twice a year for their card members holder. All the colour plates on the kaiten (conveyor belt) will only cost you RM2 per plate regardless what colours but only the once you took from the kaiten. If you order it you have to pay the normal price. They will have it during the weekdays which is from Monday till Friday which is today, last day.
So I went with my sister and brother-in-law last night at Sunway Pyramid. Not as enjoyable as it usually are since they kept holding back the good stuff such as the ebi (prawns) and the sake (salmon). You can hardly see the ebiko (fish eggs) on the kaiten which in my book is super depressing. I only end up eating less than 5 plates (-_-)"
But I'm not here to ramble about my depressing night. After sushi we went for a browse and we stumble upon such a cute new cafe (well new to me since I haven't been to Pyramid for month now). The name of the cafe is Fullhouse Lifestyle Store and Cafe. Which I think is related to the Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe if you familiar with that cafe.
Sadly I didn't bring my DSLR yesterday , boo..
The cafe is all white with a house like décor. So cute and cosy. Love this type of restaurant cause they just look so inviting. Perfect for special occasions like BDay or VDay. They called it the lifestyle store and cafe because they also sell household decoration thingies. The waiters are all wearing cute French maid costume. It is divided into three area where you have the dining area, a cute décor store and a pastry bar where they sell variety of Petit Four (small pastry). Their menu range from western cuisine, oriental cuisine and pasta dishes. The price range are from RM6 - RM30 for food and drinks and they do sell alcoholic beverages.
Since we already ate, we decided to try the Petit Four. The Petit Four cost RM2.50 per piece and RM13.00 for half a dozen. The packaging are so cute and adorable.
I'm just a sucker for cute things (^_^)
Top: Hazelnut Cake, Dark Chocolate Ganache Pastry, Cream Cheese Meringue Pastry
Bottom: Strawberry Yoghurt Cake, Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Hazelnut Pastry
So, all is not lost last night, the Petit Four totally save the day as they are heavenly delicious. Well not heavenly. Heavenly if they were bigger than bite size but they are worth the money spent. Will definitely go back for a second round and next time I'll be sure to bring along my DSLR (^_^)
You know you love me,
Shizuru
